 A walk in Stanley park, such amazing views. Flowers are blooming &  saw the heron nests





Malaysian for supper (Banana leaf), only got a photo of the amazing mango margarita 

Tomorrow is the birthday celebration. Pizza and ice cream cake, an 8 year olds dream :)

Surprise!!

The big surprise was revealed. My sister had no idea that I was travelling with our mom!!! I texted that I was here and my 2 nieces and my sister came running down the hall of their apartment to let me in.  As they opened the door, mom was hiding off to the side and said ‘can I come in too?’.  At first my sister had no idea who said that (thought it was a stranger) and then all of a sudden she realized that it was mom! The shock and confusion on her face was priceless.  I have a partial video too, but way too tired to try and post that tonight.  We had a nice evening chatting and just hanging out at her apartment. Mom and I are back at the hotel now. It’s midnight for us and I think we’ll be asleep in no time.  Tomorrow we’ll go exploring in the morning & then meeting my sister at 1:00 when she is done work :) I have a feeling shopping will be involved, not my favourite thing to do, but hopefully there will be some stores I like. Birthday day!

Today we did some shopping and then headed to my sister’s to celebrate my nieces 13th birthday. We had pizza and ice cream cake. Both delicious.  Also had a fraud alert on my credit card and now it’s been cancelled :) Should be an interesting rest of vacation without my favourite credit card!
